I finished my diploma last year, and working two part time jobs because the job market is quite competitive. My boyfriend and I plan to travel to Europe this summer. I hope we are able to discover more of ourselves that we would not find in the comfort of our home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To learn more about couch surfing, the people and the community it has built. I watched a Ted talk which inspired me to join. I love the idea of people helping each other out just out of their generosity. It inspires me to do the same and one day hope the humanity would be focused on helping each other.

Mostly, I want to gain amazing stories through CS and break the stigma that this is unsafe and prove to everyone this community can work!

Interests

I love nature walks and bike rides with my dog, snowboarding when I get the chance. I would like to become more educated in different types of wines, scotch, whiskers, beers, spirits and liquor. I've also wanted to take up a hobby in hiking, in photography.

I LOVE FOOD. I love to eat cuisines from different ethnicities. I feel like I learn better about other the country that way. I could look at food porn all day and not get bored. I enjoy cooking. I like to cook everything in the fridge before it goes bad. I hate wasting food it makes me feel sad because I feel competitive about it.

I am interested in science, art, and politics but find it hard to keep up with because I work two jobs.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to Jazz, The Beatles, EDM, old classics like Frank Sinatra to ACDC.

I don't read too many books, which has always been my regret. But one of my favourite books have been The other Boleyn Girl.

I am in love with Wes Anderson's movies. The Moonrise Kingdom is one of my favourite movies. I am also a huge fan of studio Ghibli. I grew up with My Neighbour Totoro and Kiki's delivery service on VHR but Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away will always be my favourite.

I will not be able to host until September 2016. But we have a bathroom, couch (hopefully going to be able to invest in a air mattress soon), and kitchen we can share.
