Overview
About Me
The world’s greatest stories aren’t found in books—they’re written in the lives of people we meet along the way. Curiosity about different cultures and the rhythms of everyday life in distant societies has led me to chase sunsets in the Maasai Mara, bask in the sunshine of Cancun, and stand in awe beneath the swirling auroras of Norway. Each journey has deepened my love for this planet and its incredible diversity.
As a global citizen, my experience as a international volunteer has shown me the power of connection and shared humanity. Back home, I’m a teacher, where I’ve learned that words can bridge worlds—whether in a classroom or across a kitchen table.
Now, I’d love to swap stories, learn from your perspective, and explore what makes your corner of the world unique.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing, to me, is about creating those moments where both host and guest walk away richer: a conversation that makes each other to get to know more about the world, or a shared meal that becomes a memory.
Interests
Interested in many topics from sociological theories to the lions 5 meters away from me in Africa.
I value cultural exchange, trust, and respectful human connection. During past travels, including in the United States, I experienced a situation of sexual harassment, that person left a negative comment on my profile.
I truly hope everyone can understand the potential harm for me and know what kind of person I truly am.
This experience has not made me hostile or closed toward anyone — on the contrary, I deeply respect each person’s identity, preferences, and life journey. I continue to believe in kindness, openness, and meaningful encounters across cultures.
Music, Movies, and Books
I am a lover of contrasts—where Brahms meet Queens, where the whimsy of The Little Prince collides with Plato’s Republic. My sci-fi journey began with The Matrix, but these days, I feast on the twisted brilliance of Black Mirror and the chaotic genius of Rick and Morty. And then there’s Life is Beautiful—a film that reminds me how joy and humanity can bloom even in darkness. To me, great stories—whether books, films, or music—are compasses for the soul.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stayed in a temple in mountains for about one month.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love sharing insights about my culture, language, or academic experiences. But I’m even more passionate about learning from you—whether it’s a local proverb, a family recipe, or the quiet rhythms of daily life in your city.
