About Me
"I will never be home again, because part of my heart will always be elsewhere. That is the price you pay for loving and knowing people in more than one place."
This is our life to be lived and to be lived once, so why not live every single day in the exact way that you want to!
I am a solo-traveler that visited 10 different countries and lived in five different cities last year. This year I have chosen to embark on a similar journey while working on a sustainable food project in Bangkok. I will be here and falling in love with the rest of South East Asia for the next couple months!
I guess you can say that I'm carefree, fun-loving and at times completely off the rails. I like to think I'm America's best kept secret. I enjoy drunken conversation where I become open like a book. I live for intellectual debates and finding passion in words spoken. What makes you tick? What do you love? What have you done to get you to where are today? Don't like to share, that is also completely okay with me! I will respect all boundaries.
When I am staying with you I am always extremely respectful. I like to pretend like I am reserved, but don't let me fool you I am extremely comfortable in my own skin, outgoing and long for quality human connection just like the rest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am couch surfing simply for the experience. There is not a better way to travel and meet locals. I absolutely love learning what you love about your home, while experiencing your respective culture. I strive for authenticity with my travel experiences in addition to, gaining depth in the connection I have with my hosts. I feel as although I may be young, I still have a lot to give, but I also have so much learn.

Music, Movies, and Books
"Though my soul may set in darkness, it will rise in perfect light; I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night." Sarah Williams. Old Astronomer to His Pupil
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
From a young age I volunteered my time at a multitude of organizations, the two that had the biggest impact on me were High Hopes Therapeutic Horseback Riding Facility and the unified (handicapped) soccer team at my high school. Through both programs, I volunteered over 1200 hours in the first four years to the disabled athletes.
As a result, I was nominated to attend and receive an award for my participation at the National Leadership Conference for the Special Olympics. I valued the ongoing learning that took place and actively promoted personal growth within the mentees and myself. I always maintained an enthusiastic and positive attitude to ensure that both my able-bodied and disabled riders and teammates knew that I was there to have fun and by choice. I was committed and supportive, understanding that learning would take time. I exemplified a willingness to share my athletic knowledge and taught the mentees all that I could. This has not and will not change as I enter you home.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I do not have much to share except for my experiences, warmth of character and the pure kindness of my heart. Actions speak far louder than words and I assure you that if I have the opportunity to share your home with you, it will be an experience that you will look back on and smile.
