I am Eliza, 20 years old adventure seeker from Finland. I currently live in the Netherlands spending my days working, drinking good beer and searching for cozy cafe's to sit hours in. Somewhere between those activities I also fit studying for university entrance exams, but let's just move on to the next subject from that...
I'm pretty chill person and also pretty relaxed with my current life situation. Year ago I didn't have any clue where I would be now and now I don't have any idea where I will be this time next year. But that's ok, I trust life and the plan it has for me.
I follow good vibes when traveling and I don't want to take it too seriously. Instead of running after the clock doing sightseeing, I love to take my backpack with me and just go to wander around in the new city. Also I'm very visual person and a culinarist of my own. So those qualities kinda tend to lead my path when traveling.
I love to talk and I love to be quiet, sometimes I just enjoy the physical company of another person doing stuff together, without talking. I also own a skill to see the positive side in every situation, sometimes even in those, where it's impossible to find.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and exploring new cultures. The best way to explore new cultures for me is to make my way there through local food, art and last but definitely not least -the people. And I think this is an amazing way to do that.

I also listen to a lot of Finnish music and during this year I have found dutch hip hop in my life. I don't understand that much though, but that's a good motivation for me to learn I guess :-)
My favorite movie is Forrest Gump and favorite book Taivaslaulu
