Hi there! I live in Oakland, California with my boyfriend Alex and love to take advantage of the awe-inspiring nature around me by hiking, backpacking and exploring during my time off. I've spent my career working at social justice oriented non-profits and identify as a progressive.

I'm a big fan of creating community around cooking and baking (I make an excellent chocolate chip shortbread cookie) and find great joy in learning about different folks perspectives and their life experiences

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am taking time off in between jobs to explore Europe for April - June. This will be my first time solo-traveling so am looking to share that experience with the Couchsurfing community!
