HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting new people and seeing new places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to Cannes to meet a friend who had a place to stay. It was during the film festival, before I ever had a cell phone, city was packed. The short version is that I never connected with my friend and ended up wandering outside of town. A French woman peddling flowers to the couples eating dinner eventually noticed me (huddled in a phone booth) and invited me into her humble abode. It was an incredible experience and I always remember the compassion and trust that she displayed.

Interests

Growing plants, mountains, snow. I am very athletic/active and love to get outdoors on my feet or on my skis and with my puppy dog

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed part of the way up Denali, in Alaska.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Massaging tired necks and shoulders. Cooking simple meals, helping with dishes. Spending some time with kiddos so my hosts can get things done.
