About Me

Hello! I am currently living in Erie, PA but I am leaving on a 3 month long trip to Thailand, Mongolia and Greece. I am super excited since I have never been to any of these three places. I work for a solar company and I have the wonderful ability to work from anywhere. I lived in Geneva, Switzerland as well as Lyon and Paris for a total of about 3 years where I learned fluent French.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am planning on traveling on a limited budget so anything I can save on is always helpful! I also would like the opportunity to get to know people that live wherever I am traveling so I can experience not only the touristy side of a city/ country but also where the locals like to go. There is nothing quite like experiencing the behind-the-scenes, off the beaten path city.

Interests

I enjoy cooking and eating, and I am a moderately good snowboarder. I love any and all animals and traveling is my passion.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love anything country or classical, and I am also into EDM music. As for movies and books, I will watch and/or read anything once.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my fondest memories was from a week-long trip with my extended family in Hood River, Oregon. On one particular day, my uncle, cousin and I went skiing/ snowboarding on Mount Hood (mind you it was summertime so seeing snow was a whole new experience!), then we went swimming in glacial water, which was so cold you could barely move, and to finish our day off we went windsurfing in one of the top windsurfing places in the US!! Needless to say we were quite sore after that!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not entirely sure what the "Teach, Learn, Share" means but I can teach you how to cook. I can teach you English or French (within reason, of course). I would love to learn any part of any language that I can, especially Italian and German. I am interested by so many different things in life so I would be happy to learn about anything from butterflies to quantum mechanics. I can share stories with you about places I've been and the things I've seen.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a great cook and love to introduce people to new, interesting foods! I love to talk and tell stories and am a great listener. Also, I am always ready for an adventure, so if you ever need a companion, I'll be happy to tag along. Unless I would be the third wheel, in which case I would say no thank you.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Belgium, Canada, Cayman Islands, Germany, Italy, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Switzerland, United States
