Overview
About Me
I am testing out Tucson! I am here for at leas the next three months volunteering, while working on developing some teaching tools for activists. I am excited to connect with the Tucson community, hike, do some pottery, and dance a bit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it is exciting and sometimes revolutionary to make meaningful friendships across borders, and to take care of each other.
Interests
I am really interested in plants, ecosystems, and environmental activism. While I'm here I'm like to go partner dancing and do some pottery.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favorite authors are Margret Atwood, Kurt Vonnegut, Edna st. Vincent Milay, Tennessee Williams, and Harlan Ellison.
I really like folk and old time-y music especially Michigan musicians
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While I lived in Thailand I attempted to harvest rice off a super steep mountain side. I was so impressively bad at just keeping my footing, much less the rice bundling. My host family worked slow that day due to doubling over laughing at me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn some of your favorite hiking trails, and the plants of this area. I know some good recipes, and really like to cook breakfast with friends. I really like partner dancing and square dancing, at the moment I'm trying to learn how to two-step!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am quite handy, if you need dry wall help, or some light plumbing I'd love to teach!
