I decided to quit my job and travel around the world with my partner, Omar. We gave up our jobs at a software company, put our stuff in storage, packed a small backpack, and got on a one-way flight to London. From there... I'm not sure where we're going! But I hope we meet you along the way.

I like to discover a culture through two means: my feet, and my tongue! Long walks that allow me to take in the sights and details of a place, and delicious food that surprises and inspires me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing so that I can meet new people and experience new cultures as I travel. I like to live as the locals live-- eating the same food, listening to the same music, and moving through the day at the same pace they would.

For music, I love folk music, indie, jazz, pop... most things! Kishi Bashi, Margo Price, Chet Baker are a few favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba diving in the reefs around Belize. Breathing underwater and exploring a completely new universe was (literally?) out of this world.

I love to cook and share meals with friends! I would love to learn to cook something with you, or I could teach you a recipe! I love cooking Mexican, Indian, and Japanese food, but if there’s an American recipe you want to know, I could try that too!
