I'm a born and raised Alaskan. I'm currently planning a trip to the UK. I figure the UK in November can't be much colder and rainier than Alaska in November :)

A friend of mine hosted some lovely people from Canada recently. It was fun to meet them and see them enjoy Alaska. I think Couchsurfing is a great system for meeting new people and enjoying authentic travel.
