My name is Liz Buechele. I'm a young nonprofit professional based in New York City. I run a nonprofit organization called The Smile Project centered around promoting Random Acts of Kindness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After almost 2 years at a great nonprofit, I have decided to embark on a cross country tour of America with my own nonprofit, The Smile Project. The goal is to talk to people about what makes them happy while celebrating Random Acts of Kindness and facilitating a massive pay it forward project.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once walked 24 straight hours (50 miles) for my community's Relay for Life event to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
