I enjoy exploring the world by taking the road less traveled and experiencing all the amazing places and people along the way. I enjoy hiking, flying, and really anything that is going to bring me close to nature.

I enjoy the idea of community sharing and fellowship…couchsurfing provides a way to lend a helping hand to a passing traveler, while also getting to meet interesting people from all walks of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite band: Gotta say the Beatles, but I really appreciate and like listening to all types of music: classic rock, latin, jazz, techno, old school country, blues, etc.
Favorite Movie: Hmmm...I like going to the movies, but I am kinda a late bloomer when it comes to movie watching. I like Woody Allen films. Death Proof by Quinten Tarantino is another good one. Classic black and white films are also fun to watch.
Favorite Books: Always loved the Bell Jar, Life of Pi, Thousand Splendid Suns, Breakfast of Champions…but I kinda have a bad habit of starting a ton of books and not finishing them. Currently reading "Walden" by Thoreau

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked over 80km in the Guatemalan jungle to El Mirador - the site of the largest pyramid of the Mayan civilization and visited by only about 1000 tourist per year.
