Overview
About Me
British graduate living and working in Brussels in the cultural sector. I love cooking (especially baking) and dream of opening my own café one day.
Before Brussels, I also lived in France for a year, and have solo travelled in Canada in Spain.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people from around the world, and am always looking for more sustainable ways to travel and discover new places.
Interests
I spend most of my time baking for my friends, family, colleagues and neighbours, or planning what to bake next!
I also unwind by practicing yoga, reading, or making dinner with friends.
Inreasingly interested in sustainability (especially in food and fashion) and the circular economy.
Always happy exploring new places by foot, getting lost and discovering hidden treasures.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love French literature, especially life writing from the 20th century (Marguerite Duras and Hervé Guibert especially!)
Currently obsessed with Lizzo, Nao and Mahalia, but I'll always have a soft spot for 90's bangers
Lost track of how many times I've seen Groundhog Day.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I sent 24 hours making an Opéra cake with my best friend.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm happiest when I'm spending an afternoon teaching someone how to bake delicious sweet treats. I love learning about literature and philosophy from different cultures and traditions (I studied both at university). Always happy to share a glass of red wine or a Belgian beer.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Homemade cakes and pastries, Belgian waffles and other specialities.
