I just finished my masters at Rice University in Houston, TX in Voice Performance. I am now teaching voice as an adjunct professor at Sam Houston State University and am traveling around auditioning for various opera companies both nationally and internationally. I also have a private voice and piano studio in Houston.

I live with my cousin and his wife and their 2 year old son, with another baby due in January. I have a high maintenance, adorable puppy who takes up most of my free time outside of singing and teaching. She is a crazy smart border collie mix rescue. Besides that...salsa dancing is my favorite past time :)

I love traveling and meeting new people. I spent 3 months in Italy staying with a couple different Italian families, which is what got me interested in the whole couch surfing idea. I had such a great time getting to know them and sharing our completely different worlds with each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am auditioning in NYC Dec. 5-9th for various opera companies in the US. I am looking for places to stay in the city, as hotels are just so expensive!
