About Me
I enjoy foreign music and film, I was introduced by my sister in primary school and have been in a trance since. I enjoy doing arts and crafts with my mum, cooking for people. I enjoy going to sleep after hardwork. Most of all I enjoy really long walks. I think I would describe myself as not being afraid of a challenge. In high school, I signed up for the International Baccalaureate programme even though I knew it would be a huge commitment because I wanted to challenge myself and become more well rounded. Also participating in many exchange programs (Japanese, French, Spanish, and German) without knowing the language because I wanted to breakdown language barriers without fear.. or even joining the Space Physics club and competing even though I didnt do physics. Taking risks so I can learn and become a better, more knowledgeable person
For part of my gap year, I want to travel around Canada because I lived there when I was younger and had dreamed of going back.
I have done academic work on the Sustainable Development Goals, which grew my interest, and would like to use this opportunity to participate.
I have volunteered for a Tanzanian Art and Culture store for years, teaching art and culture workshops for children and adults, and also contributed to practicing sustainable and ethical practices.
