Overview
About Me
Hello!
I'm a musician - violin/fiddle, piano and voice.
I live half the time in Brooklyn, NY and the other half in Sheffield UK.
I tour and travel a lot with my husband and our band Frogbelly and Symphony, which is a rock, progressive, folk, noise, experiment.
I also play/sing traditional Irish music and have a classical music background.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a musician who tours a lot, I've stayed in the homes of many new friends that I meet along the way and have hosted many times as well. I'm new to couchsurfing.com specifically, but have been a part of this type of sharing culture for about a decade. I've always felt especially comfortable staying with musicians/artists/creative types. There's a certain level of trust and support that is extended in this type of culture, which lends itself to a spirit of generosity I find to be really inspiring.
