About Me
I am one of those that has a really expensive piece of paper that says I learned something for four years and am looking for a job that somehow uses that piece of paper. I have learned so much more outside of school though. I have discovered how beautiful my own backyard [western Canada] is through planting for three seasons. Planting has also taught me hoe to live and contribute in a community and how important it is to be able to use your hands to support yourself.
I have travelled a bit in Europe and australia, but have never tried to couchsurf because I was always nervous just going into a person's home. But by the end of my travels, and work in the bush I learned how undeniably amazing people are and that your life becomes better with every connection you make.
I aspire to be a physiotherapist by trait. But overall I aspire to be happy enough that it rubs off on those around me. Right now I am moving to Kelowna because I know I am happier near water.
I went to my first Shambhala this year and I think now I'm hooked and am going to have to spend my free time festival hopping.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am a recent University graduate that joined couch surfing because I am moving and need a place to stay for a week before my permanent place is open.
In the future I hope to be in a position where I have a couch of my own to offer to travellers or last-minute-movers like myself.
Some of the most amazing people I know I have met travelling and it's amazing that this website exists, and you can meet amazing people even when you're staying at home.
