About Me
CURRENT MISSION
New to CS! Hoping to expand my horizons and share stories with fascinating people.
ABOUT ME
I'm a student from California currently studying abroad in Amsterdam. I'm studying international relations and journalism and I'm also learning Arabic. If you let me stay with you, I can teach you a few phrases!
I love traveling so I'm trying to take this opportunity to see as much of Europe as possible. I'd like to find some cool places off the map and recommendations are appreciated. I love to explore, especially on a bicycle!
Some of my hobbies include skiing, golf, scuba diving, reading, and photography. I love meeting interesting people and sharing stories over coffee. I'm young but I have some good ones, I promise. :)
PHILOSOPHY
Learn something from every encounter.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE ON COUCHSURFING
I'm exploring Europe this semester and the Middle East next semester, so I'm looking for hosts. Sadly, I can't host because I'm in a tiny dorm room but I hope to return the favor to the CS community one day!
WHY I'M ON COUCHSURFING
I believe meeting local people is the best way to experience new places and I'm always looking for the best things to do on a student budget!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I love old music (Ray Charles, Hall & Oats, the Beatles). Also a podcast person. Currently listening to Malcolm Gladwell's "Revisionist History"
Books: Anything written by Yuval Noah Harari. I also love All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr and The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini.
Movies: My all-time favorite movie is The Sound of Music. I also love Slumdog Millionaire or anything created by Christopher Nolan.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Tracked Silverback Mountain Gorillas in the Ugandan jungle. There are only about 800 of these gorillas left in the world and it was so special to see them in the wild.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you let me know ahead of time, I can bring my camera and take portraits of you!
