ABOUT ME

I'm a full time photographer who loves people and life and tries to make the best of every situation. I'm very adventurous person and love the opportunity to try new things.

Photography
I've been a full time photographer since 2005. I'm very passionate about my work. Unfortunately, up until now I didn't do a lot of photography outside of my job. I'm trying to work on that which is why I'm starting a couchsurfing series. My focus isn't going to be on the locations so much as the people and "moments" that happen while on each adventure.
Working out
I love going to the gym and working out, it's become an essential part of my life. I like to go a minimum of 4 times a week.
Playing sports
In high school I played 4 different sports. Volleyball, Softball, Soccer and Swim team. My favorite was swimming - I used to swim 2 miles straight, then I would immediately join in on swim team practice and then lifeguard everyday during swim team season. I lived at the pool! I don't have the lung capacity like I used to but I still love being in the water - there is nothing like it in the world. I also now play kickball on a league here at home. Last year we won the championship ;)
Playing games
I love playing any kind of games except possibly trivia - only because I'm terrible at it, but I'll still play. I love poker, telestrations, scrabble, monopoly, corn-hole, pool, darts, beer pong, flip cup, etc. If people are playing games, there's a good chance that I will want to be a part of them.
Dancing
A lot of people say the love to dance, but I REALLY do. I will be one of the first people on the dance floor and wont stop until they turn the lights on. There is no free'er feeling for me than dancing. It is the one time I can be in a room full of people and not care one tiny little bit what anyone thinks of me. I just get lost in the music and let it move me. It's transcendental
People / Psychology
The more I experience life, the more I appreciate people. I'm fascinated by our differences and similarities and especially by psychology. I love hearing about theories on human behavior and discussing why people act the way they do. On that note, I love my friends. Once someone becomes a close friend, they will always be a close friend to me no matter what. They have my loyalty and friendship whenever they need it.
Traveling
Again, I have friends who say they LOVE traveling but rarely do. I make it a priority in life. I NEED to travel. Traveling always puts my small world and problems in perspective and renews me. I don't necessarily have to go far, I just need a change of scenery and people, often.
A wide variety of food
Food is one of the main reasons I love traveling. I love trying new foods and there is very little I don't like. In fact, here it is. - Broccoli and red/green peppers. That's it, that is all I don't like. I can even eat those if prepared a certain way. Just saying :)

Books: Sookie Steakhouse Series, Hunger Games Trilogy, Night Huntress Series, Tairen Soul Series - Basically anything fantasy

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I feel blessed in that I've been able to travel quite a bit and have a lot of unique experiences compared to my peers. However, the best memories for me are the ones that aren't planned. The nights that turn to mornings, the conversations that engage you for hours, etc. People are what make life so beautiful and interesting to me.

Photography - I'm actually thinking of doing a series on couch-surfing and documenting the experience. I have quite a bit of free time in the Winter months. If someone is interested I can give them a few pointers w/ photography - however, if you don't have a SLR, I can only go so far. I LOVE to dance - so if anyone can teach me some moves that'd be great. I'm really all about getting to know people and experiencing their city with them - I don't need anything more.
