They would say that I am easy-going and adventurous. They also would say that I know how to have fun and am eager to learn about anything. I love to learn about other people's cultures and lifestyles, including language, food, and hobbies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel quite a bit, but sometimes I like to make my travels a bit more meaningful, so I'd like to meet more Deaf families and introduce my two children to more Deaf individuals as there really aren't many in our home state, Maine.

Interests

I am a full-time employee at a deaf school and a part-time student, working towards my Masters in Special Education and Teacher of the Deaf Certification. In my free time, I spend my time with my two Deaf children and taking photographs of everything around me. I live by the motto "Carpe Diem" and live life to its fullest. I love to travel, meeting new people and learning new things while gaining experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During the Summer of 2015, my Deaf family and I traveled across the country for two months, visiting several states and exploring national parks, etc. It was an amazing experience, one I will never forget!
