I finished Uni a couple years ago, and I took some time to save money to travel the world! While I've always lived in the US, I've always felt European at heart :) I have a passion for art, food, language, and geography. Any chance I have to talk about the world and differences between cultures is a good time for me.

I'm usually found with a beverage in hand - whether it be coffee, tea, beer, or wine.

I'd consider myself progressive, open-minded, and well-read - and I'm always open to a friendly debate!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I absolutely love staying in hostels to meet other travelers and share stories, BUT you don't get to meet as many locals. I like to stay with local people and couples when I visit smaller towns so that I can learn a bit more about the hidden culture.

Music: Really anything! Classical, to 50's/60's Rock'n'Roll, and Indie/Alternative Rock. I really enjoy hearing music from other cultures, so please give recommendations!

TV>Movies: Breaking Bad, Weeds, Dexter, etc. Favorite movies would include Fight Club, Reservoir Dogs (and most from Tarantino), American Hustle.

Literature: Avid ASOIAF fan, otherwise mostly non-fiction, Steinbeck, Fitzgerald

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in a bus last summer (6 months). I bought it, took all of the seats out, cleaned it up, and parked it in a campground. Electrical worked but no running water... definitely an experience!
