About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To love well! To deeply care for my family, my partner, my friends, the people I come into contact with on a day-to-day basis & the people I meet one off.

ABOUT ME

I am from a massive family. Whom I adore.

I work as a wedding planner at a beautiful historical venue. The team are work with are really fantastic & I thoroughly enjoy my work.

I'm pretty passionate about social justice issues. I'd love to create a space where people can tell their untold stories and be heard.

I've traveled to unusual places and meet unusual people.
Learnt from the homeless in the streets of Zurich that the homeless aren't those without houses.
Raced in a row boat across the equatorial line in the Timor Sea... and lost.
Had my very first snow fight on Snowdon Mountain in Wales.
I've experienced the generosity of East Timorese who had very little to give.
Witnessed the wild beauty of Uluru.
Fallen into a canal in Venice after attempting to fish my little sister out.
I've laughed and cried with ladyboys in Cambodia.

Every experience is priceless and every person uniquely wonderful.

PHILOSOPHY

I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.
"Love God with all your passion, prayer, and intelligence. Love others as well as you love yourself."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Only one?

One winters night, some friends and I were walking along Rainbow Beach, Australia. We noticed a strange glow whenever our feet hit wet sand. We looked at the water and saw the waves glowing as they broke on the shore. We waded in and noticed that the movement of water caused a luminous effect on our legs. We stripped off and dived in. Every time our limbs moved the water would light up and embrace us in a silver glow. It was surreal. We stayed until the cold forced us home.

We later found out it was noctiluca scintillans, a bioluminesence dinoflagellate. The fireflies of the sea. Beautiful!
