About Me

ABOUT ME

They would say I am super outgoing, friendly, and easy going. I like to be at the center of excitement and that usually involves being the leader or planner. What can I say, I like the attention :) I make friends easily and like to be at the center of exciting things. I'm independent and not afraid of trying new things. I can be comfortable in most situations.

Interests

I like to hear other people's points of view on life and learn about different cultures. Like I said, I'm open minded and non judgmental. I believe in happiness and doing whatever you can to achieve that no matter what others think of you. That being said, I spend a lot of my time engaged in conversation with my friends or family. I am an ESL teacher so it's my job to talk a lot and be a good listener. When I'm alone I will usually go exploring, shopping, eating out, or finding a new cool place to enjoy a coffee or beer and read a book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting under a canopy of cherry blossom trees amongst thousands of locals and tourists at a traditional Japanese hanami party (in Ueno Park) watching the pink petals fall and float on the wind as dusk broke. The beautiful contrast of soft pink and silver sky gave me goosebumps it was so beautiful. The blossoms only last a couple of weeks (at the most) and then they're gone. Like life; beautiful yet fleeting.

Losing my backpack on the train in Tokyo and the railway staff calling me days later with the news that they found it. Nothing was missing! Japan is almost crime free. I've never felt so safe in my life.

Taking a ski lift from the middle of the city in Park City Utah before the 2002 Olympics then skiing in the best conditions I've ever experienced. I remember having a huge grin on my face.

The sunsets in Tucson are unbeatable. Remarkably better than the one's I experienced in California or the Caribbean.
