Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

surf and will host when I'm settled in someplace.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with a host in New Orleans during and after Mardi Gras in 2014. My friend used his account so I did not get a reference. The two hosts were very interesting and totally accommodating. It was a wonderful time!

Interests

Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. I love exploring new scenery and meeting new people. I enjoy movies, reading, and writing. I also love doing art, drawing, making jewelry, photography, etc. During the time I spend outside of work I enjoy doing all of the above, as well as, being outside. Spending time with friends and family is one of my main priorities.
Hiking with my dog is top of my list!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Glacier National Park is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. The mountains are so big and grand. I had never see mountains so big until just recently. I got to hike into the mountains and then we camped right around them. It was a wonderful experience.

Last year over spring break I traveled to Salvador, Brazil to celebrate Carnaval. It was amazing! It was a little overwhelming with all of the people there but in the end it was a wonderful experience. The hostel that we stayed in hosted people from all around the world! I made friends from Australia, Scotland, Toronto, Brazil, and many other places. The beaches were beyond beautiful. The culture was interesting and engaging. Listening to music out on the streets with millions of other people was exhilarating.

Another spring break trip I went to Costa Rica. Costa Rica is a beautiful country. We stayed at another hostel there that hosted people from all around the world as well. We stayed in a town called Tamarindo. There I learned how to surf (or tried to), went out snorkeling on a sunset cruise, and also got to hang out and chill with the locals. A great experience overall.
