One of my personal beliefs is "Love All, Serve All" regardless of your most sincerely held religious, no religion, or spiritual belief.

I believe in mutual respect and understanding between folks with harming none but taking no s***. I live a life of service to others and this brings me joy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting interesting people, traveling, and story sharing after having spent 12 years in an occupation where I moved every 1-2 years and lived halfway around the world.

I've been invited into the homes of complete strangers from different cultures and regions in the USA who became friends and family.

Upon leaving that occupation, I've spent the years since living in different places due to college and work.

We have so much to share and learn from one another that can be so enriching and create memories to cherish forever.

Interests

I am rather eclectic with my tastes in books, movies, and music is based on my mood. I enjoy reading science fiction and books on holistic health, religious studies, and cooking. I don't own or watch television. I like almost all kinds of music, enjoy watching movies from home or in a theater with great surround sound, and I am a bibliophile (lover of books).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love adventure, sci-fi, suspense, horror, thrillers, and animated movies. I listen to a lot of Neo-Soul and Jazz music along with Pop, Trip-Hop, and Ambient. I love music in general and will listen to anything. I try to keep vibrating high.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Studied Spanish in Spain during the summer of 2016 and seen the ruins of Babylon in Iraq 2004.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can coach/mentor about herbalism, holistic health practices, crystals, massage, health sciences, energy work, and healthcare. We can talk about philosophy, I can show you recipes from my childhood in Texas, or listen/talk about/share music. I am very happy to share my stories about my time in the military, the places I have lived/traveled, and about where I am from.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Just ask any questions and I'll be happy to answer them based on the section "Teach, Learn, Share". I tend to keep mostly to myself and keep my living imprint as small as possible while respecting someone's home during my stay. I am no stranger to light housework or housekeeping and do enjoy cooking, so I can assist with those things as needed during my stay. I enjoy some light gardening.
