About Me
CURRENT MISSION
live a three-dimensional life; stay away from screens
ABOUT ME
I'm currently living part time between Cochrane, Chile, Portland, Oregon and the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica. I teach conservation biology in Chile and Costa Rica. Portland is my homebase of sorts. I'm looking forward to it becoming more home-like over the next few years.
In my time off, I enjoy exploring this beautiful and wild world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couch-surfed with people all over the world in recent years and hosted a few times too! I've stayed in a self-sufficient intentional community tucked up into the cloud forest in Colombia and also met up with CSers in cities like Bogota and Buenos Aires. I've hosted people in various places I've lived like Maryland and Oregon.
Interests
Evolution, backpacking, mountains, ocean acidification, street food and busy markets, building community, trapeze, the tropical Andes, fighting patriarchy, cooking for large groups of people, tall trees, tiny phytoplankton, planting things in soil and watching them grow...
