About Me
Hello!! I am currently a very underpaid public servant. I'm trying to enjoy my life and travel despite my economic constraints.
I am all about paying it forward. The day I move into my own place, I will be hosting my butt off! At the current moment though I am once again reaching out as a couch surfer. Please accept the first of many expressions of gratitude coming your way. THANK YOU!!! (May I virtually hug you) *consent is so important. Only read on if you are prepared for a virtual hug...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couch Surfing saved me when I was in Stockholm with no place to stay. It's such an amazing community that upholds the "radical" idea that travel should be accessible to everyone regardless of their ability to pay for expensive hotel stays. It's truly a wonderful example of how sharing in this new globalized world can bring so much opportunity to get to know each other without all the economic, political, and social barriers that are forced between us.
I am couch surfing (1) because I love to travel (2) because the reason I love to travel is being able to get to know people and really get to experience the way they actually live and enjoy their world.
Interests
Salsa dancing, good conversation over tea, knitting (I'll knit you a hat), music (I have my ukulele and will serenade you), exploring the city. I'm all about learning new ways to do things. We can swap skills!

What I Can Share with Hosts
I am independent, low maintenance, polite, understanding, and aware. Like my attractive adjectives?
What that looks like in practice is I pay attention and actually listen and observe myself, the people I interact with, and my environment. I rely on good communication, which in my opinion means twice and much listening than talking. I'm extroverted and am open to talk about anything.
When I say low maintenance I mean, I literally don't need very much to travel. I also can keep myself fed, entertained, and manage public transportation (or cheat and use Lyft) all on my own :)
I like to leave a place in better shape than I found it. So consider your dishes cleaned and whatever I used cleaned and put away (just tell me how you want it done)
