Hi there!

I'm a 27 year old American comedian traveling to Amsterdam to visit a local comedy theatre Boom Chicago. I've been doing improv comedy for just about a year now and it is certainly my passion. I also love cooking dinners with or for my friends and having cozy nights in or out!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will arrive in Amsterdam a week before my more permanent place will be ready. I used to couch surf and host guests a lot when I was in college and had such amazing experiences meeting people from all over the world I would love to do it again for a short time!

Interests

The first time I saw an improv comedy show I knew I was hooked. After taking classes and starting to perform I realized it had so much more to teach me than just having a great time with people. Improv teaches me to be present and listen. You can also turn anything big or very small in to something really special and fun if you trust your partner and allow yourself to be vulnerable.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is such a tough one! My favorite movie is Bridesmaids but I also love a range of movies. I love all the Star Wars films, 9 to 5, any scary movie...etc.

My favorite music is something like Kings of Leon, Modest Mouse, "May I have this Dance" ft. Chance the rapper, The Fugees, Jill Scott, Gil Scott Heron, Otis Redding oh and so many more!

My favorite books thus far have been Digital Fortress and number the stars. I am currently reading Devil in the White City which is incredible.
