I like getting to know new people, learn new things, try out different restaurants, and explore new places. Having fun, spending time with quality people, and enjoying life are main goals in my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing for a few reasons:
1) Meet new and interesting people while seeing new and interesting places.
2) Help out travelers with a place to stay, and show them around my city.
3) To stay with the locals and get to know the local area and culture a bit better.

Interests

MUSIC, dancing salsa & other Latin dances, poker, card/board/video games, basketball.
I like checking out museums. I like anything artsy. I have a motorcycle and I ride almost every day!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Performing piano for thousands of people and receiving a standing ovation was overwhelmingly awesome.

Other cool things I've done:
- Going to Yosemite National Park and Machu Picchu with my mom were great experiences.
- Scuba diving in Belize.
- Road trip to Florida with my best friend!
- Motorcycling through the west part of South America for 4 months was pretty epic!
- Driving all around Northern Ireland.
- Started an annual contemporary classical music festival in Charlotte.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been taking Latin dance classes here and there... Would love to go out and do some dancing!

I learned a good bit of Spanish in school and during a 4 month trip motorcycling through South America in 2016. It would be cool to be able to speak more Spanish with other travelers!

I have a masters degree in music composition. I write/perform music, run a music festival that I started in Charlotte, & teach at a local college.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a very friendly person with a grateful and positive attitude. I treat others and their property with kindness and respect.

I play piano, flute, sing, and compose music. If you need help with music stuff, I can help you out with that.

A jam session if you have your own instrument (I always bring my flute with me when I travel) :-D
