About Me

Hi, I'm Liz!
I looove water and swimming - pools, lakes, and especially the ocean. I enjoy light hiking, yoga, reading, and board games. My degree is in psychology and I enjoy reading about decision making and small things that can nudge us toward different decisions.
I have a sweet 12 year old dog traveling with me sometimes and watched by family other times.
I am recently single from a long term relationship where we were living together (his house so I moved out), and I'm also in between jobs. So I'm couch surfing with family and on here until I get more settled!
I got a lawn pass to the coastal credit union music park / walnut creek amphitheatre, so I'll be in the triangle area for concerts multiple times this summer. I'm looking to move to Wilmington once I'm more settled with a new (remote work) job.
I'm fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and LGBTQ friendly (I'm bi myself).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Places to stay with nice people while I'm floating around. Once I get more settled in Wilmington I'll host again for anyone wanting time at the beach :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Recent music love is AJR.

Very into science fiction books and TV shows/movies recently. And I will always have a place in my heart for Parks and Rec!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw Mt. Etna erupt while sitting in an ancient Greek Theater in Taormina, Sicily, Italy watching the world premiere of How to Train Your Dragon 2 (audio in Italian, no English subtitles...) at the annual Taormina Film Festival. The varying levels of history was very surreal.

What I Can Share with Hosts
