Trying to incorporate more adventures into my regular life by saying "Why Not?!" to more things. I run a small fundraising business from my home to support children's education and earthquake reconstruction in Nepal - JacketsforJasper.com. And trying to make time for gardening and travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had the pleasure of couch surfing once, with a friend who has been a host many times. We stayed at a couple's home while on a cycling trip in BC and stayed up late chatting and telling stories. It was a wonderful way to meet locals, have a safe and comfortable place to stay, and spend a really enjoyable evening with "strangers". It was a great experience!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oooohhhhh.... Most enchanting thing ever was watching then sun set over the desert in beautiful Petra, Jordan, and then walking all the way across this world heritage site at dusk, and then winding our way through the slot canyon called the Siq by the light of candles placed in paper bags along the way. Bar none, the most magical moment of my travels!
