Music, Movies, and Books
I will read pretty much any book that you place in my hand, though, when given the choice, I tend to gravitate towards the fantasy genera. My all-time favorite books are the Golden Compass series, Harry Potter, and pretty much anything by Michael Crichton or Mercedes Lackey.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the summer of 2009, I spent three weeks backpacking across Germany, Austria, and Italy. I saw beautiful ice caves in Austria, the glorious Coliseum in Rome, remnants of the Berlin Wall, an Opera and fireworks show in the Spanish Steps, and much much more. It was a marvelous experience and I can't wait for the opportunity to return!
In 2011, I traveled to Nicaragua on a volunteer trip where we spayed/neutered and vaccinated local pets and farm animals and helped rehabilitate wildlife. I have never had a more rewarding experience as this!
