About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Allow my fractured collarbone to recover well.
ABOUT ME
I'm outgoing, smiley, proactive but love my random days doing little or nothing too.
PHILOSOPHY
This life is for loving, sharing, learning, smiling, caring, forgiving, laughing, hugging, helping, dancing, wondering, healing, and even more loving. I choose to live life this way. I live my life in such a way that when I get out of bed in the morning, the devil says, 'oh shit, she's up!' (Steve Maraboli)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting and surfing, truly wonderful experiences so far!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met, shown around and partied with couchsurfers at home and abroad! I found flats abroad, a guitar, more than one bike and have made wonderful friends through this site.
Interests
(Live) Music and jamming with friends; theatre, the arts in general
Helping others (thus Occupational Therapy).
I love foooood, recently acquired passion for cooking.
I have found the best hatha yoga teacher I could ever have imagined - and here! In Chelmsford!! Namaste.
I love latin dancing (salsa, bachata, kizomba)
I generally click really well with kids of all ages, we have a certain understanding.

Music, Movies, and Books
Recent reads: Girls will be Girls by Emer O'Toole; also Northern Lights by Philip Pullman, so addictive. Anything by Nick Hornby makes me happy.
This is England (both the movie and the soundtrack!), This Must Be the Place (same), Le scaphandre et le papillon, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (inspiring stuff for couchsurfers), Le Petit Prince, La Sombra del Viento, Dancer in the Dark, Mr Robot, la Casa de Papel,...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Play a hang-drum (so hypnotic). Stand on a mountain just overlooking Batuecas valley, covered in a sea of clouds as far as the eye can see (breathtaking). Scuba dive with giant turtles in the Caribbean, and at night in Lanzarote watching all the shrimps light up and the sharks come out.
Teach, Learn, Share
Languages especially I guess. Music too. I'm very teachable. And a natural born teacher, or so I've been told! I think the key is to be willing to learn, and open to admitting what you don't know.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Positive energy, quality conversation, maybe cooking, music, languages
