About Me
There is something extraordinary about meeting new people, tasting new food, stumbling over new terrain, and experiencing cultures different from my own. I hope that my travels can bring a fraction of knowledge to the vast world I am only beginning to explore. I was born and raised in Alaska. I love the mountains and being close to the ocean. I'm a senior in college at the University of Alaska Anchorage studying Natural Science and Psychology and minoring in Philosophy. I'm pescetarian (I don't eat meat, but will occasionally eat seafood). If something is strange enough I'll try anything once.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had several friends that have had amazing experiences couch surfing and since I'm traveling to around Southeast Asia soon I thought I'd join. I'm excited to meet new people and have new experiences. I'd be interested in hosting people when I get back home or meeting up with people who want to venture around Alaska.
Interests
Pretty much anything outside, but I do enjoy relaxing with a good book or hanging out with friends, Netflix, or my overweight cat. I like wandering around nature whether it be on foot, snowmachine, four wheeler, boat, etc. I try my best to do yoga even if my balance is shaky. Currently, I am particularly interested in learning more about Eastern philosophies.

Teach, Learn, Share
I am always excited to learn new things. I think the best to learn from each other is just seeing where the conversation takes us. I am an easy going person and feel free to ask me anything!
