ABOUT ME

I'm a 27 year old from northern England. I studied history, and since then i've worked as a care assistant in a nursing home, a nanny in Paris, and now I'm teaching english in Madrid.

On the way, I've picked up an American husband, so hopefully in the near future I'll be doing something or other in Los Angeles.

PHILOSOPHY

Live while you can, seize the day and so forth, but try not to stomp on anyone else in the process.

Interests

I love to read, and I write fiction, poetry and other stuff. I'm very interested in languages and travel; even though my current useful skills are limited to English and French, i'm hoping to change this very soon.

Music, Movies, and Books

The most terrifying aspect of learning French has been that my 'to read' list has doubled in size! Travelling means I tend to pick books at random from the 'to read' pile that has been sitting in a loft at my parents' house for the last few years on trips home, or whatever books in a language I can read fall my way.

I'm not really much of a film nerd, but favourites are The Fall, Delicatessen, Apocalypse Now, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
