ABOUT ME

I'm from the US living in Washington, DC working for an NGO working on environmental and immigration policy. I am constantly trying to learn about and understand bits of the complex systems that shape the world around us. I love traveling, books, nature, running, having good conversations, and getting to know new people and places. Though, the three things I love the most are: lists, irony and the oxford comma.

I am unable to host people at the moment but hopefully I will be able to in the near future.

I'm an avid reader. The book that reignited my love of reading after a brief pause from reading in my youth was The Kite Runner.

Fantasy, Current events, history, fiction, social commentaries, science, I love them all and more.

Half the Yellow Sun, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The New Jim Crow, The Gentlemen Bastard Series, The King Killer Chronicles, Americanah, Blood Brothers, The Disappearing Spoon, Why does E=mc^2, and most of what I have read by Terry Pratchett.
