I am not bored- I am good at making interesting times out of the resources available. Lately this includes creating a meal swap, composing a new performance piece, attending a training on world cafe and open space techniques, raising my newest chickens, tutoring a young woman in basic math, and coordinating the Celebrate Urbana People's History Project: www.urbanapeopleshistoru.wordpress.com

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I meet great people and, in town, help them help themselves to the magical land of Urbana and all it offers. Out of town I am ever so grateful to avoid the isolated monoculture of hotels! Thank you for sharing your homes and personalities!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was part of Servas, which is similar, but more expensive. Now I am a host and surfer. I live in a passive house, so it's nice to share my ecologically 'alternative lifestyle' with folks.
