ABOUT ME

Hey there,

I'm Eliza and I'm Australian.

I speak english (et je me débrouille bien en français).

I am bubbly, quirky and pretty outgoing.

I love things like having dinner parties, cooking, dancing and live music. I love wandering around art galleries, riding my bike and walking in nature.

I've just finished Uni, and am now exploring Europe for a couple of years! I'm hoping to find a new home in Edinburgh.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in France and have hosted international friends and friends of friends in my share house and I loved having them stay and showing them around. I would love to have people stay with me in Melbourne when I get back.

These are the reasons I love to travel:

* Meeting new people - learning about their cultures and their customs. Learning new languages and ways to communicate.

* I love everything about food - cooking it, sharing it, eating it, getting fresh things from the market. This is the way I love to travel, like I am researching one giant recipe.

* I am fascinated by nature - I adore bugs and critters, and crazy plants. I'm not afraid to get dirty or rough it camping.

* I also love music, history, art and literature. Travel is an amazing way to see all these things intersect.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Books: I love recipe books (a great way to learn about a culture) and the classics like Shakespeare, Orwell and Nabokov.

Music: blues, roots, jazz, reggae, soul.

Movies: I tend to go for arthouse films, foreign language films or thrillers. My favourite is Amelie.

I love learning new languages and history from others, and I love sharing my cooking skills and random facts with others.
