ABOUT ME

Originally from Woodstock, New York (about an hour and a half away from the city by car). I am currently spending a year teaching as an English teacher assistant in Madrid. It's been fun to live here and learn about the education system here, and have fun in the classroom talking about culture and traditions in the USA, not to mention great to practice Spanish. I love to travel, because it provides me the opportunity to take photos, eat, drink, meet new people and walk a ton. Above all, I love to make food with friends and family. Or try cooking something that I have never done before.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just had my first couchsurfing experience recently and I don't know why it took me so long! What a great way to learn a city and learn from the locals what to do, and where to eat. Not to mention meet and converse with new people.
