HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed and hosted and been to a meetup. This is usually not just positive, but also quite enriching.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Quakers have had their own version of couchsurfing for years. I have now hosted 4 people and been hosted 3 times.

Feral cats, immigration law, singing, mushrooms, cookwear, walking in the woods.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I was trying to record Puerto Rico in my journal and realized there were things in Tallahassee I still wanted to write about. I was reminded again that there are so many wonderful things in my life, I could not possibly record them all, but I shall try to write at least one thing every time I log on:

1) Seeing the sun at 2AM through a skylight in Scotland
2) Bagpipes and drumming on trashcans in the rain
3) A badger stealing cat food
4) a Llama standing on its hind legs to eat leaves
5) a hedgehog in an actual hedge
6) clotted cream!
7) Sky lanterns, unexpectedly
8) A fluffed up cardinal sleeping on a lit line of Christmas lights while people play sweet music nearby.
