I'm a master's student in International Organisations and Crisis Management at Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena, Germany, originated from Russia. I want to describe myself as a citizen of the world. In the future I would like to work in an international NGO in the human rights field.

What about my hobbies - I volunteer a lot. I used to help organize various events, participated at social actions, aimed to support the elderly and children in orphanages or hospitals, took part in international volunteer camps on different topics. Now volunteering is one of my main activities. I am volunteer at the organisation Aktion West-Ost and doing international youth exchange trainings and projects. I am also a volunteer of Copernicus Scholarship program in Hamburg for people from post-soviet countries to study in Germany.

In my free time I have quite ordinary interests like watching YouTube or series, playing board games. I am a big fan of surfing, ice skating and skiing. I am into hiking and really love nature. I love spending time with friends and I want to find friends all around the world!

It goes without saying, I love to travel. My main idea of traveling is to get insights from local life. Usually I volunteer at places I go or use CS.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am inspired by the consept of CS. It is the most genious thing man has ever created!! It is an excelent opportunity for different people to communicate and explore each other's cultures! All people here are united by something more than just a free night's lodging. Our community consists of sincere, open-minded and coolest people!

Unfortunately there were few people traveling to the city I lived in. Right now I am not able to host because of my living conditions. That's why I have no hosting experience. But one day I will move and, for sure, will be happy to host. I believe that a person must not only take, but also give.

I used to be a bookworm (my favorite were The dark tower by S. King, The gadfly by Voynich, Fahrenheit 451 by R. Bradbury, Crime and punishment by Dostoevsky). Right now I read not much and preferably something useful in phycology or economics.

I watch a lot of series, among my favourites are Doctor Who, Money Heist, The Handmaid’s Tale, Black Mirror, Supernatural, Glee, The big bang theory, Sherlock, How I met your mother, Scrubs, Friends, Merlin, Once upon a time and many others :)

As for the music I like listening to everything actually, but the alternative rock is my favorite (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nickelback, Sum41).
