I'm a recent PhD graduate originally from Russia, but I have lived in LA for the last few years.
There are few things that I like more than the feeling of freedom you experience while travelling. The feeling of being able to see whatever you want. That is especially fascinating when you arrive to some small place not many of people you know have ever heard of.

I am figuring out my visa situation, meanwhile I can't work which means I can't pay for hotels. I would also like to meet new people, of course!
