COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm rewriting this after about four years in the couchsurfing game. Several people whom I surfed with (many moons ago) are now people I consider good friends. Weird how that worked out. The nature of my life doesn't allow me to surf or host as much these days, but I'm still a vocal proponent of what couchsurfing is all about. Five years ago nobody had a fucking clue what it was. Now when it comes up, people have some vague understanding, and admiration, but still don't really get it. Either that, or they're crashing on my couch and living it.

Listening to music, going to music, playing guitar, inhaling news tidbits and current events, despising television, ultimate frisbee, somewhat embarrassed to say ping pong, micro brews, gourmet coffee...black, stellar conversation, recently gambling on likelihood of catastrophic events (bombing Iran), finding and buying new neck ties, riding my bike...
