Hello! I'm Eljon, a law student in a university here in the capital of the Philippines, Manila. Like most people on Couchsurfing, I absolutely enjoy travelling. There is much to see of this world, and I think meeting different people helps us do this.

I love discussing history, culture, and general knowledge and randomness over beer or coffee. For me, the best part of meeting new people is listening to them and living out their experiences vicariously. In my free time, I enjoy books and films. I also enjoy water activites like swimming, scuba diving, and surfing.

I want to learn more about this world one story at a time, and I'd be down to offer what I know to help you fulfill this as well. While I enjoy going for must see sights, I also want to experience living like a local as well. What better way to do that than make friends and hang out with a local.

Went solo clubbing in Japan and hitched into VIP entry just by talking to some very kind strangers who invited me out of the blue 😅

Teach, Learn, Share

I offer cultural exchange and a great time! I can share about Filipino culture, traditions, and history. I can take you to both must sees as well as non-touristy places as well. I'd also love to share with you a bit of history regarding these places we'd see. If our schedules permit, we can drive out to go to popular surf areas or dive sites as well. Lastly, I'd love to share my stories about my travels too.
