Overview
About Me
I am a student burnout, wannabe artist, and okay cook. I can also fingerknit ANYTHING as long as it isn't useful in any way at all, and have pretty fluent comprehension of two dead languages (but no, cannot speak them). I avoid easily monetized skills.
I enjoy the lazier side of contact with nature like biking, kayaking, and swimming in very cold lakes, but am also game for masochistic backpacking trips.
Grew up in an orthodox Jewish community in Jerusalem, left home at 14, and joined a university program for wayward punks in Seattle. Hopped around the North-American block in the meantime. Now making good on the next six months between graduating from college (rock) and compulsory national service (hard place).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looking to connect with people who can introduce me to their sense of a city as home. Let's talk local art, grassroots humanitarian work, weird fringe cultural happenings, and soul food.
Nur durch echte Fremdheit werden wahre Freunde.

Music, Movies, and Books
___________________________________________
- On a Zamrock kick. I like to make fake soundtracks. Much of what appeals brings the funk, I have a hard time appreciating very cerebral music.
- Sucker for cartoons and stop-motion. Still trying to make stop-mo.
- I can't read, it's hard on my liver.
