I studied Economics and Law at the University of Cape Town and now I work as a project lead at a civic-tech non-profit. Not many people know what this means- but basically we work to try and improve transparency and accountability in government and our aim is to get more people involved in decision-making to create more of a participatory democracy. It's very cool work and it is fully remote so this gives me the freedom to travel the world, which I love doing. I like meeting new people and I'm just not ready to settle in one place. I currently am based in Cape Town, the most beautiful city (I might be biased), I am a super laid-back individual who is always seeking adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people from all over the world on my travels. I love staying with locals as I believe this is the best way to get to know a new place and share experiences and culture. I also have really enjoyed hosting people as it is a way of travelling without leaving your city. I enjoy returning the favour of great hospitality that exists in the couch surfing community.
