I have always loved travelling and backpacked around Europe myself when much younger :-) and I just love meeting people from different parts of the world.
Myself and my husband, son 17 (about to leave for his gap year and then on to University) and daughter, 15, live in Matakana, a small but vibrant village, near beaches ( 5 mins drive ) and beautiful nature parks. We are located about 45 mins from Auckland and there are buses to our nearest town, Warkworth and a very random bus service to Matakana from there.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

My son is about to backpack around UK and Europe during his gap year, so I am really happy to host some Couchsurfers and hopefully someone will do the same for my son.

My husband is passionate about music, especially latin, samba, jazz, bossa nova, hence I am too! We listen to a lot of different music and it is a big part of our lives as he also is a great musician - I am so lucky :-)
