Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in the US, and have spent the majority of my life trying to escape my small home town in North Carolina to see as much of the world as I can.
I'm not a fan of the cold, so I try to plan my travels accordingly.
I want to see everything I can, I want to learn everything I can, and I want to experience everything I can in this life.
I'm not extraordinarily talented at anything but I have a few hobbies that I'm average at including guitar, poi spinning, and recently yoga. I also have a didgeridoo that I'm trying to learn to play (pointers are appreciated).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to meet people and be able to explore the world on a budget, pretty much. Both being just as important.
Interests
Art. Music. Life. Food. The occasional brew. Travel. Meditation. Flow. The ocean. Lightning storms. Listening to people talk about their views on the universe and all of life's mysteries. Meeting people. People watching in a crowded place.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is the universal language, and I love it all (there's something in every genre I've heard that I love that is, let's be honest, there is a such thing as bad music). My preference can go quickly from reggae to metal, from electronic to bluegrass, or from jazz to kirtan depending on my setting and mood.
I don't read as much as I should to be honest, and if I do it's usually something boring and informational. I do intend on reading a few various religious texts soon though, as religion has peaked my interest lately (I would love to hear about yours and/or your views and beliefs if you have the time as well).
I also don't watch movies that much, I like documentaries though.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I tossed Michelle Obama's salad once ;)
I've done a lot of interesting things, but honestly though, the most fulfilling thing I've done would have to be spending a week in Haiti going to a few different orphanages. I celebrated my 19th birthday there with a cake made out of Slim Jim's and peanut butter (it's the thought that counts) surrounded by the most beautiful group of smiling faces singing me happy birthday in Creole.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll try to make you smile :) I'm not claiming to be the most hilarious or interesting person you've ever met, but I have my moments.
I'd also be happy to clean.
Just don't ask me too cook.
