我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Initially because I was supposed to move to Portugal in 2015. It seemed a nice way to meet people and to get to know my new city (Lisbon) better.

Summer 2016, I traveled through Spain for 2,5 weeks, all by myself. This was my first couchsurf experience. I surfed for a week in Tarifa and a couple of days Alicante. The rest of the time I stayed in hostels.
Besides that I also used the hangout option. Had dinners, drinks and did some sightseeing with other couchsurfers.

Myself, I live in The Netherlands. I rent out my own house, so temporarily living at my moms in Zoetermeer, which is not the most exciting city. It is however close to The Hague and the house is big, so if anyone is interested you're welcome to stay ;-)
We do have cats, so not suitable for allergic people.

Music: I love everything! Pop, Rock, Dance, Urban, Progressive.. you name it :)
Movies: Everything except meaningless action movies. Favourites: Austin Powers, most Nicolas Cage and Johnny Depp movies and of course Bond, James Bond!
Books: The Beach. Don't read many books though.

I love baking and making breakfast. But I can't cook haha.
Lately I find it interesting to make things without refined sugar.
Also, I make the best gin & tonics!

I would love to improve my Spanish, also improve kitesurfing and try out peddle boarding and salsa dancing. Visiting various crossfit places is also on the list.

I like to share many things! Talk about cultural differences, life experiences, listening to music, watching movies, biking, sightseeing, dinners and drinks.
