Overview
About Me
I live and work in Cape Town, South Africa. I work in the area of human rights law and social justice. I love traveling, chocolate, cheese and dancing. I'm a very low maintenance traveller and can usually be found walking until my feet hurt or sitting with a book, a glass of wine and people watching for hours.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined this year because it is the first time I am visiting Italy and many friends suggested couch surfing as a beautiful way to travel, to discover strange places and connect to new people (and survive the euro)!
Interests
I love studying new things, meeting new friends and adventuring to new places. Some recent new things include publishing poetry and other forms of literature, as well as playing squash and swimming in the sea. I also LOVE good food (cooking it, eating it and savouring it).

Music, Movies, and Books
I have very electric music tastes and love a good acoustic guitar solo. I devour books, especially when I'm on holiday and I'm a sucker for a good detective novel or fantasy worlds. My other passion is for African fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't know if I can pick one... life is pretty amazing. Living in Nairobi, Kenya was pretty phenomenal. Two second amazing - I have jumped off Bloukraans, the highest bungy jump in the world. One week amazing - I have roadtripped to Mozambique using only public transport.
